100 Years Of Women In the Cuillin
100 Year Anniversary of the first female Cuillin traverse
So a bit of an exciting plan for all the ladies of the group (sorry lads 😂 you can also look into doing a similar trip with Atlas but for now its a all female weekend 🩵)
So next year is the BIG 100years since the first ever Female traversed the Cuillin Ridge 😍🤩 crazy!!!
So Atlas is going to organise an event to celebrate this awesome milestone!
Plan is: To traverse the Cuillin as an all women team, guides an all.
Then...
The option will be a few weekends later to choose either to do a 2 day traverse of the Cuillin or you can opt for 2 single days on the ridge where you can do some really fun scrambling an abseiling and climbing. or you ca try for a single day traverse
People can pick an choose you don't all have to do the same thing.
If you would like to be apart of this then please pop your name an number in the chat below an I'll add you to the group! 💃
Really looking forward to this! It's going to be such good fun!
If you know of other people who could be interested please add them to the group, there will be a variety of abilities and the more the merrier, from novice to experienced, bring it on!!!! 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

Hill days on the 12-13th depending on single day traverse, two day traverse or two individual days
Traversing the Cuillin Ridge in a single day is an absolutely huge challenge, requiring a great deal of fitness and endurance, and the ability to move with agility over technical terrain. A successful day traverse is an outstanding achievement for anyone, and certainly a day you will never forget.
This is one of Britain’s most sought out mountaineering routes, 13km summit to summit, scrambling, rock climbing and abseiling over 11 munro summits and 3000m of ascent.
Typically the day would last about 16-19 hours, for a two day traverse expect two good 10+ hour days and is best undertaken during May/ June / July, when daylight hours are longer. There are many variations and options, but ultimately may depend on the weather.
