Open Cuillin Munro Courses

Are you ready to tick off Skye’s most iconic Munros with a group of like-minded adventurous people?

On our open Cuillin Munro course, you’ll join in a group of 4, with a maximum ratio of 1:2 per instructor. That means plenty of personal guidance, hands-on support, and the chance to ask questions and learn as you go, whether you’re curious about route finding, movement on rock, or just feeling more at ease in exposed terrain.

Over 4 days, we aim to climb all the Munros in the Black Cuillin ridge, with a planned rest day built in. Use it to explore the island, recover, or just enjoy not wearing a helmet for a day.

Summer 2026 Open Courses:

Women’s Only Cuillin Traverse

After a brilliant 2025 trip, we’re running another Women’s Only Cuillin Traverse. This is one of the UK’s most sought-after mountaineering challenges - a full journey across the Cuillin Ridge. Expect 13km of scrambling, climbing and abseiling over 11 Munros, with around 3000m of ascent.

It’s a big undertaking. Over two days, you’ll be moving for 10+ hours each day across some of the most technical terrain in the UK. The exact line will always depend on weather and group, but the goal is simple: a safe, supportive and memorable traverse of the famous Cuillin Ridge.

Summer 2026 Women's Only Cuillin Traverse:

9-11 June 2026

£550 per person

To book onto this trip, please contact Connor via the chat or on WhatsApp via +44 7446191098

Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous climbing experience to do the Cuillin Ridge? You don’t need to be an experienced climber, we can teach you everything you need to know. However, you do need a reasonable level of fitness as the days are long with lots of ascent (and descent) because we start and end at sea level.

How long are the days? Expect single days to take between 6-9 hours. For a full traverse, it’s pretty chunky with lots of scrambling. Normally, we’re looking at 2x 12-hour days, with a night on the ridge. Pack weight is usually about 6kg incl. your overnight gear. Sometimes a prep day is good before doing a traverse, but this is something we can discuss.

What gear do I need to bring? We can provide all climbing equipment. Please check our kit list for more information on what you should bring.

Client Testimonials

I have climbed with Connor several times now, both in Scotland and on an expedition to Morocco, and have several more trips on the cards. He is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread, ultra-professional and super down to earth, and always a pleasure to be around.

At this point, I consider him more of a friend than just a guide and I would happily put my life in his hands, which I have already done several times. 150% recommended....get up those hills!!
