There’s a lifetime of fantastic climbing to be had in Scotland! Whether you’re looking for a guided day on a classic route or ready to build your trad climbing skills over multiple days, our expert instructors are here to help you have a great time in the mountains.
We cater to all experience levels and work in a low ratio (max 1:2). We can climb near Ben Nevis Glen Coe, Skye, the Cairngorm or further afield.

Trad Skills & Learn to Lead
Our Trad Skills and Learn to Lead courses are designed to build your confidence and competence placing gear, building anchors, route reading, and making safe, independent decisions on the rock. We always tailor the instruction to match your goals and experience level, so whether you’re a second looking to lead your first pitch or a sport climber crossing into trad, you’re guaranteed a comfortable progression in a safe environment.

Scottish Classics
Ken Wilson’s famous 1978 book 'Classic Rock' features many Scottish routes, such as Ardverikie Wall, Agag’s Groove, and Crypt Route. Wilson’s book covered great climbs all over the UK, originally up to a grade of Hard Severe, although many have been subsequently upgraded to VS.

Big adventures
Fancy something a bit different? Perhaps you would like to climb a classic Scottish sea stack, go on a climbing trip to Pabay or Mingulay. Other great routes on the mainland include the chasm in Glen Coe. Castle Ridge on Ben Nevis or Squareface in the Cairngorms.

Famous Ridges
Scotland’s spectacular ridges all make for a great day out, with Tower Ridge, Curved Ridge and Aonach Eagach being the most famous. Tower Ridge is the classic of classics of Scottish mountaineering. Graded Difficult, it is hard enough to be challenging but easy enough to be achievable by most. It is 600m long and an amazing mix of scrambling and rock climbing. Curved ridge is a mountaineering journey through steep terrain on one of Scotland’s most photogenic mountains. Aonach Eagach, “the notched ridge,” is a grade two scramble that requires you to move across, up and down exposed terrain with jaw-dropping views of Glen Coe.
